Dear colleagues, dear students,

the beginning of October 2020 is a significant period for the University of Economics in Bratislava, as the University of Economics in Bratislava celebrates its 80 years since the establishment of its predecessor - College of Commerce in Bratislava. The College of Commerce in Bratislava was established in October 1940 as the third Slovak university and its establishment was influenced by the need to foster academically-educated economic workers in Slovakia at the time when Slovak students lost the opportunity to study at the University of Business in Prague.
