The President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová, reappointed in the Presidential Palace prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, PhD. as the Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava for a term of office from February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2027.
In his new term of office, the university's rector intends to continue building a modern university with a strong international dimension, based on high-quality education and research.
"It is responsibility as well as commitment, which I believe will come to fruition in joint work with my closest colleagues and newly-elected faculty deans to benefit all EUBA employees and students. I am looking forward to cooperating with everyone." said Ferdinand Daňo upon receipt of his appointment letter.
In addition to the EUBA rector, the Slovak President appointed three other rectors. Peter Kónya will head the Prešov University in Prešov, and Jozef Nagy the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice. The rector of the University of Security Management in Košice will be Peter Lošonczi.
