Students outside of EU

After you have been nominated by your coordinator, we will send an e-mail that we offer you an accommodation option in our dormitories. Students are allocated according to capacity to one of three different dormitory blocks for exchange students outside of EU with the following accommodation fees:

• Ekonóm (Address: 821 09, Prístavná 15893/8)
• Prokopa Veľkého, "HOPA" (Address: Prokopa Veľkého 41)
• Starohájska 8 (Address: Starohájska 8)

We will send you an email about the methods of payment of the accommodation fee and the deposit shortly after your nomination. You need to pay before your official arrival to Slovakia and bring with you the proof of payment to your dormitory. You will receive the keys to your room only after you present the proof of payment.

Student rooms in dormitories are equipped with blankets, pillows, and bed linens. Laundry rooms are available in each dormitory. Students can also borrow from reception an iron or vacuum cleaner. Internet connection is available in most of the rooms, however, you may need a network cable.

If you are not interested in living in dormitories, you can find accommodation on your own. The International Relations Office does not provide any counseling or help with that due to capacity reasons.

The earliest move-in date for the Fall Semester 2019 is September 2, 2019.

EU countries students

Unfortunately, due to capacity reasons, we are not offering the accommodation for the students from EU at our dormitories, however, we suggest these accommodation facilities: Student House, Mlyny Dormitory, Slovnaft Dormitory, or you can choose an apart mention Airbnb or Flatio. There are many groups on Facebook offering flat renting or websites such as erasmusu.com and your buddy will be more than happy to help you after the nomination and application procedure!
