The Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava, Mr. Ferdinand Daňo and the Counsellor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Joaquín Támar Espoto signed on February 26, 2018 an amendment to the lease agreement on renting the UEBA’s non-residential premises on Konventná street in Bratislava to the Embassy. The library and the educational centre of the Spanish Embassy are located on the premises since 2005.

Between October 16 and 20, 2017, the University of Economics in Bratislava hosted two dozen experts from different parts of the world at the 5th edition of the International Teaching & Training Week 2017. The event was attended by 20 representatives from 16 foreign universities from 16 European and non-European countries.

The economic growth and high demand for labour in Slovakia helps university graduates, who can choose from a large number of job offers. The graduates of the University of Economics in Bratislava are not an exception.

The 2nd International Scientific Conference on Language and Politics. Between Linguistics and Political Science was organised by the Faculty of Applied Languages of the University of Economics in Bratislava in cooperation with the Institute of Political Science of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Slovak Association for Regional Policy on 22nd June 2017.

From April 3 to April 7, 2017, the University of Economics in Bratislava will welcome 20 representatives from 16 foreign partner universities from several European and non-European countries within the 4th International Teaching & Training Week 2017. The event has been organized by the University with the support of Erasmus + and  opening speeches will be given by the Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava prof. Ferdinand Daňo and H.E. prof. Revaz Gachechiladze, Ambassador of Georgia to Slovakia.

On October 17 - 21, 2016, the University of Economics in Bratislava was the host institution for 23 representatives from 19 foreign partner universities from several European and non-European countries within the 3rd International Week.

In the week of 11 - 15 April 2016, the University of Economics in Bratislava welcomed 28 professors from 18 foreign partner universities from several countries from Scandinavia, the Baltic countries, through the V4 to the south of Europe. The patronage of the event was taken over by H.E. Mr. Richard van Rijssen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Slovak Republic.

There have been 18 professors visiting the University of Economics in Bratislava. They are participating in the first year of the International Week organized with the support of Erasmus +. The program comprises 13 states from Scandinavia, the Baltic countries, through the V4 to the south of Europe. The University of Economics in Bratislava has more than 280 partner agreements signed under the European Commission's Erasmus + Mobility Program.
