The Bratislava University of Economics and Business (EUBA) has had another extremely successful year of the Career Journey 2025 job fair, which once again showed why we are among the most attractive universities for employers in Slovakia. The atmosphere full of energy, motivation and new opportunities attracted hundreds of students and dozens of companies, who regularly direct their interest to EUBA.

The Bratislava University of Economics and Business today, at a ceremonial meeting of the Scientific Council connected with the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Economics and Finance, awarded the honorary scientific degree of Doctor honoris causa to Elena Kohútikova, a prominent Slovak economist, banker and public figure.

In the winter semester of an academic year 2025/2026, we organize already the 14th edition of an international educational project Central Europe Connect - Joint Certificate Program (CEC), that enables short-term international student exchange at three economic universities in Central Europe. The CEC project is a joint project of the University of Economics in Vienna (WU), the University of Economics in Warsaw (SGH) and the Bratislava University of Economics iand Business (EUBA). Within this unique certified program, 20 students from each university attend lectures and discussions on the topics of economic development of the countries of the Central European region.

The 19^th International Teaching Week took place at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business from 27^th to 31^st October 2025. Every year the event offers the opportunity for international cooperation in teaching and connects teachers from foreign universities with EUBA students. The aim of this year's edition was to support internationalization in teaching and at the same time to strengthen cooperation within the framework of teacher mobilities under the Erasmus+ programme, especially through the Erasmus Mobility with Partner Countries outside of European Union (KA 171).
