In the summer semester of an academic year 2024/2025, we organize the 13th edition of an international educational project Central Europe Connect - Joint Certificate Program (CEC), that enables short-term international student exchange at three economic universities in Central Europe. The CEC project is a joint project of the University of Economics in Vienna (WU), the University of Economics in Warsaw (SGH) and the Bratislava University of Economics iand Business (EUBA). Within this unique certified program, 20 students from each university attend lectures and discussions on the topics of economic development of the countries of the Central European region.
The International Office at the University of Economics in Bratislava recently held an exciting event to engage exchange students from its partner institutions around the globe. From 28.01.2025 to 04.03.2025 the International Office hosted a unique photography challenge with eight participants, encouraging students to showcase their personal experiences through their lenses. This year’s competition, titled “MY EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE IN SLOVAKIA” allowed students to capture moments of their study abroad journey.
From March 30, 2025 to April 9, 2025, the manager of the University of the Third Age of the University of Economics in Bratislava and a member of the AIUTA committee, Janka Chládecká, participated at the invitation of AIUTA in three conferences, which were co-organized by the World Organization of Universities of the Third Age in cooperation with three universities in Hong Kong: Metropolitan University Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education Kwai Hing Campus, in Macao Milenium College and in Shenzhen College Gold age.
Krakow University of Economics (Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie - UEK) is among the leading economic universities in Poland. Its history dates back to 1925 and it is currently one of the major academic institutions with a rich tradition of teaching and research in the field of economics and social sciences. UEK develops intensive international ties and has long been a key partner of the University of Economics in Bratislava.
