The International Office at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business organized the fourth edition of its summer school from 20 to 24 July 2026, this time focusing exclusively on human resource management in the digital era. The programme welcomed 19 students from partner universities in Hungary and Germany, namely the Budapest University of Economics and Business, Technische Hochschule Augsburg, and Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences.
The Summer School was officially opened by Boris Mattoš, Vice-Rector for International Relations at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business. Following the opening, the participants took a guided tour of the university campus before attending the course Managing People in the Digital Era, academically led by Soňa Ďurišová from the Faculty of Business Management. The course combined expert lectures with interactive activities designed to strengthen teamwork and develop practical skills. The week concluded with group project presentations, during which the students showcased the outcomes of their collaborative work.
Alongside the academic programme, participants had the opportunity to discover Bratislava through a guided city tour. The programme also included a visit to HENKEL Slovakia s.r.o., where students gained valuable insights into the operations of an international company. The week concluded with a farewell dinner, providing an informal setting for participants to exchange experiences and strengthen the international connections they had established during the programme.
