UEBA ranked among the Slovak universities that were evaluated in the U-Multirank project in 2018. The project offers multidimensional and user-oriented approach to the international assessment of higher education institutions.
The University of Economics in Bratislava in collaboration with the European Regional Science Association (ERSA) is pleased to announce the opportunity for Ph.D. students and young researchers to participate in the 31th ERSA Summer School which will be held from the 1th July to 8th July, 2018 at the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia. Within the topic of the summer school “Regional Policy Analysis and Planning - Evaluation Theory and Practice” recent advances in theory of regional policy, its implementation and evaluation will be discussed. On June 19, 2018 the Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava, Mr. Ferdinand Daňo, signed an agreement on double degree diploma between the University of Economics in Bratislava (UEBA) and the University of National Economy in Sofia (UNWE). The agreement was signed in the presence of both the President of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Andrej Kiska and the President of Bulgaria, Mr. Rumen Radev who was on an official visit to Slovakia between June 19 and 20, 2018.
On June 7, 2018, the Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava (UEBA), Mr. Ferdinand Daňo signed a memorandum of understanding with Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SIUBE) in Shanghai. The UEBA delegation was welcomed by SIUBE’s President, prof. Guohong Zhu. The meeting was attended by Ms. Nannan Zou, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ms. Lingjie Dai, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, and prof. Che Chunli, specialized in Central and Eastern Europe, who has already collaborated with the UEBA’s faculty. Cooperation was topic of the meeting. SIUBE offers multiple joint degree programmes with universities in Australia, UK, Canada and Germany, and is being involved in a number of important research projects. Both parties stressed that the potential for cooperation is great thanks to the analogous structure of both institutions.
