On 16 May 2019, rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava, Prof Ferdinand Daňo, welcomed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to Slovakia, H.E. Ms Adiyatwidi Adiwoso Asmady. The Ambassador was accompanied by Ms Lely Meiliani, Counselor of the Indonesian Embassy for Economic and Cultural Affairs.
The subject of the meeting was academic cooperation with Indonesian universities. Mr Boris Mattoš, vice-rector for international relations, informed about ongoing projects.
EUBA is currently working with the University of Indonesia, Trisakti University in Jakarta, Udayana University in Denpasar, Universitas Islam Indonesia in Yogyakarta and Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta. The cooperation focuses on student and teacher exchange. Ambassador Asmady expressed her readiness to support the expansion and strengthening of cooperation with universities in Indonesia.
