At the meeting of the Rector’s Advisory Board on September 22, 2021, the Rector of the EUBA, Ferdinand Daňo, appointed a new associate professor and awarded the prize for the best publication outputs in 2020, the prize for pedagogical activities in 2021 and also awarded the winners of the university round of Student Scientific and Professional Activities in 2021.

The decree on the award of the scientific-pedagogical title of associate professor was handed over to Assoc. Prof. Dipl. Ing. Eduard NEŽINSKÝ, PhD. from the Faculty of National Economy of the EU in Bratislava, who habilitated in the field of habilitation proceedings and inauguration proceedings of the national economy.

 

Based on the results of the evaluation of the evaluation committees, the Rector of the EUBA awarded the EUBA Prize for publishing activities for the year 2020.

In the category University textbook:

PASTORÁKOVÁ, Erika - ONDRUŠKA, Tomáš - JURKOVIČOVÁ, Monika: The history of insurance, which was published by Wolters Kluwer Czech republic.

In the category Monographs in Slovak language:

NEŽINSKÝ, Eduard: DEA models for socio-economic analysis and support of economic and political decision-making. Which was published by Wolters Kluwer, Czech republic.

In the category Articles in domestic and foreign scientific journals, the prize is awarded to:

  1. TÓTH, Peter - CUPÁK, Andrej - RIZOV, Marian: Measuring the Efficiency of VAT Reforms: a Demand System Simulation Approach. In: Oxford Economic Papers: General Economics Journal. - Oxford: Oxford University Press.
  2. LORKO, Matej - SERVÁTKA, Maroš - ZHANG, Le: Improving the Accuracy of Project Schedules. In: Production and Operations Management. John Wiley & Sons. vol. 30, no. 6.

Based on the results of the evaluation of the evaluation committees, the Rector of the EU in Bratislava awarded the Rector's Award of the University of Economics in Bratislava for pedagogical activities in 2021.

The prize for pedagogical activity in 2021 was awarded to Assoc. Prof. Dipl. Ing. Alena ZUBAĽOVÁ, PhD. from the Department of Finance of the Faculty of National Economy of the EU in Bratislava.

 

The winners of the university round of Student Scientific and Professional Activities in the academic year 2020/2021 were:

at the 1st level of study:

1st place: Marco Majerčák (Faculty of National Economy),

2nd place Alexandra Sipská (Faculty of Business Economy with seat in Košice),

3rd place Monika Bíziková (Faculty of Business Management).

 

at the 2nd level of study:

1st place: Jana Vavrincová (Faculty of Economic Informatics),

2nd place: Tomáš Oleš a Tomáš Ševček (Faculty of National Economy),

3rd place: Adriana Dvoršťáková (Faculty of Applied Languages).
