We cordially invite you to the public hearing of applicants for nomination as candidate for Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business for the term of office from 1 February 2027 to 31 January 2031. In accordance with the Higher Education Act, as amended, the public hearing of applicants for nomination as candidate for Rector takes place at a session of the Electoral Assembly.
The Electoral Assembly will be held on Friday, 9 October 2026, at 9.00 a.m. in the Aula of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, Dolnozemská cesta 1, Bratislava.
Pursuant to Article 4(9) of the Regulation on the Rules, Timetable for Preparation and Conduct of the Election of the Candidate for the Office of Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, the Electoral Commission has published the list of applicants for the office of Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business for the term of office from 1 February 2027 to 31 January 2031 (in alphabetical order by surname):

In accordance with Article 5(4) of the Regulation on the Rules, Timetable for Preparation and Conduct of the Election of the Candidate for the Office of Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, as amended by Amendment No. 1, each applicant will speak in the order determined by lot, presenting their programme theses, including a proposed development strategy for EUBA, for a maximum of 20 minutes, and will subsequently answer questions from the members of the Electoral Assembly, members of the EUBA academic community and representatives of the public present. A maximum of 30 minutes is allocated for the discussion with each applicant. Questions for the discussion are to be submitted electronically via the "Q&A" (Questions and Answers) feature of the MS Teams platform.

The broadcast and recording of the public hearing will be made available on the University's website in accordance with the Higher Education Act, as amended.
