On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of its founding, the Bratislava University of Economics and Business (EUBA) awarded prestigious awards to teachers and researchers who have made a significant contribution to the development of science and research at the university.
The awards were presented during the opening ceremony of the 2025/2026 academic year in the prestigious Assembly Hall at EUBA. The laureates received their awards personally from the hands of the university rector in the presence of members of the management, faculty deans, teachers, students and other guests.
A symbolic gesture of recognition for an exceptional anniversary
The rector of the university highlighted the importance of research as a fundamental pillar of university life and emphasized that the achievements of individuals are reflected in the reputation of the entire university at home and abroad.
"Each of you is a bearer of excellence. Your work shapes not only the academic environment, but also the entire society. This award is an expression of our recognition and gratitude," said the rector at the award ceremony.
14 exceptional personalities from EUBA faculties
The awardees were selected representatives of all seven EUBA faculties – educators and researchers who have been engaged in innovative scientific projects for a long time, publish in internationally recognized journals, and actively contribute to the development of the academic community.
