The Department of Science and Doctoral Studies of EUBA prepared the VI. year of the event "PhD. Orientation Days" on September 8-9, 2025.
The aim of the event was to provide information to new full-time doctoral students who are starting to study at the University of Economics in Bratislava in the academic year 2025/2026. The program included lectures and trainings on the main topics related to the scientific, research and pedagogical activities of doctoral students at the university.
In their lectures, Matej Lorko and Štefan Rehák from the Faculty of Economics and Finance EUBA presented in an interesting way the work of scientific and research workers at the university, and Peter Schmidt from the Faculty of Economic Informatics introduced doctoral students to the use of artificial intelligence in the development of their pedagogical skills.
In addition to lectures and trainings, doctoral students also received an overview of the possibilities of financing their projects through internal EUBA resources. Representatives from the Center for International Relations at EUBA, SAIA, the International Visegrad Fund and Fulbright provided information on the possibilities of foreign mobility and their financing.
39 doctoral students participated in the event and received a certificate of participation.
