On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in coordination with the Commercial Department of the Embassy of Hungary in the Slovak Republic and our partner research, statistical and innovation company TREXIMA Bratislava, students from the Budapest University of Economics and Business visited the Faculty of Economic Informatics of the University of Economics in Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as "FHI EUBA").
The students came from several faculties and study programs, mainly focused on accounting and informatics, international relations, international trade and tourism. The meeting was attended by Dr. Márton Gábor Nagy, Secretary of the Political Department of the Embassy of Hungary in the Slovak Republic, and on behalf of the Dean of FHI EUBA, Erik Šoltés, FHI representatives: Silvia Zelinová – Vice-Dean for Education, Peter Schmidt – Head of the Department of Applied Informatics and Ádám Csápai – Assistant Professor of the Department of Statistics.
The representatives of FHI EUBA presented the current direction and profiling of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, focusing on the study programs offered by the faculty at all three levels of university study. The presentation also included an overview of the organization and structure of studies in individual study programs.
The study program Data Science in Economics was also presented, which is accredited with the possibility of obtaining the EMOS (European Master in Official Statistics) certification. The benefits of recognizing selected educational modules in cooperation with the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) for graduates of the Accounting and Accounting and Auditing study programs were also presented.
