The Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava issues

 

The annex 1 to Rector's measure no. 4/2022,

 

amending certain provisions (No. 2.1 and 6) of the Rector's Measure No 4/2022 issued on 24 February 2022.

All other provisions of Measure No 4/2022 of 24 February 2022 remain in force.

 

This Appendix shall enter into force on 11 April 2022.

 

All the following measures and deadlines may be amended and adapted depending on the decisions of public authorities (e.g. the Public Health Authority).

 

The university management and the managements of faculties at the EU in Bratislava call on all employees and students of the university, as well as the public staying in the EU premises in Bratislava, to be accountable to themselves and the environment, to adhere to all anti-epidemic measures and in all internal university premises (including dormitories) used an FFP2 respirator.

 

2.1 State examinations on the first and second level of study

State examinations at the first and second level of study shall take place from the 16 May 2022 to 1 July 2022. State examinations and/or retake terms of state examinations may also be carried out in August 2022 according to the schedules of individual faculties. 

For foreign students who do not stay in the territory of the Slovak Republic during the state exams, it is possible to take the state exam online. The details of the online state exam are determined by the deans of the individual faculties. 

The structure and content of the state examinations remain in accordance with the study plans of the study programs. Students will participate in state examinations according to a precisely determined time schedule prepared and published by the relevant faculties in accordance with the orders, measures and methodological guidelines issued by the Rector for this purpose.

 

6 Student dormitories

Entry to the student dormitories of the university (in Bratislava and Košice) is possible in the “basic” mode.

During operation time of student dormitories, all persons are obliged to follow the actions of the Office of Public Health and to comply with all anti-epidemic measures.

Students who are to stay in domestic isolation after entering the territory of the Slovak Republic can stay in student dormitories only after its completion.

Unreasonable gathering in rooms is not recommended in student dormitories and also in all interiors of student dormitories.

Visits to student dormitories are allowed until 22.00 in compliance with all anti-epidemic measures.

Summer accommodation during the main holidays will be provided depending on the development of the epidemiological situation and the measures of the ÚVZ SR. Information on summer accommodation options will be published on the website https://euba.sk/en/services/accommodation-offer-summer.

Details will be provided by the Director of the University Business Activity and Service Centre.

 

The employees in charge shall inform on these measures other employees who do not have computer access.
