On 5 March 2019 3rd International Mobility Fair took place at the University of Economics in Bratislava. The event attracted dozens of students interested in international mobility, e.g. through well-known European Union mobility programme Erasmus+.
EUBA organizes the student fair together with international students that study at the University in summer term of 2018/2019. The event was launched by the UK ambassador to Slovakia, H.E. Mr Andrew Garth who stressed that “it is important that students learn from each other to widen their horizons and learn both academically and culturally”. Mr Boris Mattoš, vice-rector for international relations greeted students on behalf of the rector.
The goal of the event was to present diversity of countries and universities the University of Economics in Bratislava cooperates with and offer to students a wide variety of options of exchange study. There is 132 international students from Americas, Europe and Asia studying at EUBA this summer term. Department of International Mobility also had its booth at the fair presenting the current call for applications for mobility at universities in Morocco, Bhutan, USA, Russia and Argentina. Students can apply by 20 March 2019.
Part of the programme was traditionally the best booth contest. The competition among students was quite strong. The winner was an Erasmus+ KA107 mobility participant from Eurasian National University in Astana, Kazakhstan.
