From October 6 to 12, 2024, the manager of the University of the Third Age EUBA, PaedDr. Janka Chládecká, PhD., MBA, participated in two conferences and meetings, in the order of the 113th AIUTA Committee, organized by the world organization of Universities of the Third Age AIUTA in cooperation with the Eight University Hospitality Business School in Tunis.
The topics of both conferences were multicultural education at universities of the third age and senior tourism. These were the topics that the UTV manager presented in her two presentations.
Together with the president of AIUTA, prof. Francois Vellas, visited three universities in Tunis and two universities in Djerba. After the end of the stay, representatives of the university management Anis Meghirbi and Jouda Esfaxi Mosbahi said together: "We thank the University of Economics in Bratislava in the Slovak Republic for participating in both conferences in Tunis and Djerba. According to the presentations you presented and according to the information we received from you, you are a great inspiration and a professional role model. We think that it is a joy to be a senior citizen in Slovakia, that it is a joy to be a student of your University of the Third Age. I also admire the support of your university for the education of seniors, which you told us about, and your personal commitment to work."
