The aim of the EUBA PhD. Students International Mobility Fund (EUBA IMF) is to support the international mobility of full-time PhD. students and part-time PhD. students who are, at the same time, full-time employees of the University to carry out the scientific part of their PhD. studies at international universities or other relevant professional institutions.
In recent years, the University of Economics in Bratislava has financially supported particularly:
- short-term international mobility (participation in scientific conferences, summer schools)
- long-term international mobility (research stays, study stays, internships)
of PhD. students in countries such as France, Canada, Germany, Austria, UK, Indonesia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Poland, Netherlands, Italy, China, New Zealand, USA, Australia, Hungary.
EUBA IMF funds can be provided to the PhD. students in the form of a financial contribution to cover the following items: travel, accommodation, meals and small expenses. Pursuant to Internal Directive No. 5/2015 "Rules for the allocation and use of funds from the PhD. Students International Mobility Fund of the University of Economics in Bratislava" and Supplement No. 1 to the Internal Directive No. 5/2015, a financial contribution to support the international mobility of EUBA PhD. students carried out within the scientific part of their PhD. studies may be provided to the same person only once, and it cannot be provided retroactively for the already completed international mobility.
Duly filled applications along with all the attachments specified in Internal Directive No. 5/2015 "Rules for the allocation and use of funds from the PhD. Students International Mobility Fund of the University of Economics in Bratislava" and in Supplement No. 1 to Internal Directive No. 5/2015 must be delivered to the Department for Research and Doctoral Studies of the University of Economics in Bratislava (Rector's Office building, 3rd floor, room E3.27) by 30 November 2021.
