On the occasion of International Students' Day, the Rector of Bratislava University of Economics and Business Ferdinand Daňo presented special scholarships to nineteen exceptional students at the meeting of the EUBA Rector's Board on November 19, 2025. Students from all faculties were awarded - whether for exceptional academic results or for representing the university in sports at the domestic and international level.
"Our students are proof that talent and hard work can change the future. I am proud of their determination and results that go beyond the university," said Rector Ferdinand Daňo at the scholarship award ceremony.
The scholarships were awarded at the proposal of the deans of individual faculties and at the proposal of the director of the EUBA Center for Physical Education and Sports for exceptional sporting achievements. In total, 19 students were awarded, who significantly contribute to the good name of the university.
International Students' Day, which is celebrated annually on November 17, is an opportunity to recognize not only academic achievements, but also the values that young people bring to society - freedom, creativity and the courage to seek new solutions.
