On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, the university honored individuals and institutions that significantly contribute to the deepening of relations between the academic environment and practice. The awards in the category "For Contribution to the Development of Cooperation with Practice" were presented, at the proposal of the deans of the faculties, to those who, through their long-term activities, initiative and support, help the university fulfill its mission and push the boundaries of education and research.
Collaboration with practice is one of the pillars of a modern university – it creates space for connecting theory with the real world, for developing innovations and supporting talents. Thanks to it, students gain valuable experience from the real environment, practitioners enrich teaching with their experience, and the university fulfills its mission – to serve society.
"For 85 years, the Bratislava University of Economics and Business has stood on solid values that connect science, education and social responsibility. Our task is to create bridges - between academia and practice, between the university and society. The awardees we are highlighting today are the embodiment of this idea. Thanks to their support, cooperation and openness, we succeed in bringing students an education that is not only high-quality, but also practically usable," said the rector of EUBA, Prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, PhD.
