In the summer semester of an academic year 2024/2025, we organize the 13th edition of an international educational project Central Europe Connect - Joint Certificate Program (CEC), that enables short-term international student exchange at three economic universities in Central Europe. The CEC project is a joint project of the University of Economics in Vienna (WU), the University of Economics in Warsaw (SGH) and the Bratislava University of Economics iand Business (EUBA). Within this unique certified program, 20 students from each university attend lectures and discussions on the topics of economic development of the countries of the Central European region.
The 13th edition of the CEC program was officially launched on March 10, 2025 at the SGH in Warsaw with the course „Marketing resources and consumer behaviour in Central Europe“. Students then continued in the blocked teaching at the EUBA with a course „Structural Dynamics in Central European Economies“, which was officially launched on April 7, 2025. During the week at the EUBA, students attended lectures and worked on group project assignments, as well as took part on social activities, such as campus tour, city tour, social activity organised by the ESN EUBA and farewell dinner. Blocked teaching at the EUBA was concluded on Saturday, April 12, 2025 with presentations of the first results of group projects.
Last course of the current edition of the CEC project, specifically „Strategies and Management for Central Europe“, organised under the supervision of partner university WU, will start on May 12, 2025 in Vienna.
With its 13th edition, the overall number of graduates of the CEC project will raise to over 620 students since its launch in 2019. In the winter semester of an academic year 2025/2026 we will organize already the 14th edition of this successful program, to which it is already possible to apply.
