In the summer semester of an academic year 2023/2024, we organized 11th edition of an international educational project Central Europe Connect - Joint Certificate Program (CEC), that enables short-term international student exchange at three economic universities in Central Europe. The CEC project is a joint project of the University of Economics in Vienna (WU), the University of Economics in Warsaw (SGH) and the University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA). Within this unique certified program, 20 students from each university attend lectures and discussions on the topics of economic development of the countries of the Central European region.

The eleventh edition of the CEC program was officially launched on March 11, 2024 in Vienna with the course "Strategies and Management for Central Europe", organized under the professional supervision of partner university WU. The block teaching continued in Warsaw with the course „Marketing resources and consumer behaviour in Central Europe“, provided by the partner university SGH. On May 13, we officially launched the last course within the 11th edition of the CEC program, the course „Structural Dynamics in Central European Economies“, organized under the professional supervision of EUBA. In the opening speech, students were greeted by Boris Mattoš, the Vice-Rector for International Relations of EUBA. After the welcome part, students continued in the program with a campus tour and lectures. Students took part on specialized lectures and worked in teams on group projects throughout the whole week. Apart from block teaching, a tour of Bratislava, social activity organised by the ESN EU Bratislava, farewell dinner and a visit to Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Slovakia s.r.o. were also prepared for the students. The block teaching was concluded on Saturday, May 18, 2024 with presentations of the results of group projects and closing ceremony during which students received certificates.

Overall 56 students graduated the program in the summer semester of academic year 2023/2024 and in total, more than 500 students have graduated the project since its start in 2018.
