On October 10, 2023, the International Office of the EU in Bratislava organized the International Study Abroad Fair to bring students closer to all the possibilities of studying abroad. The fair brought together exchange students of the winter semester 2023/2024 and full-time students who presented their universities through engaging presentations. In addition, they shared their culture, traditions, and cuisine, creating a great opportunity for local students to network.

The event was opened by Laura Danielová, Coordinator for Incoming students, who encouraged all students to share their unique experiences of studying abroad. Sabrina from Tashkent State University of Economics in Uzbekistan said: „The event is great, I had a chance to talk about my country and university and I'm really glad to have this opportunity to share my experience, culture, and traditions with others.

International students from 15 different countries who are studying at EUBA within the frameworks of Erasmus+, National Scholarship Program, and Bilateral Cooperation represented their countries acting as valuable ambassadors of their home universities and countries. Erik from Gustavson School of Business, Canada mentioned: “The location is really good, makes people want to interact and talk.”

At the end of the event, Boris Mattoš, Vice-Rector for International Relations, announced the participants from Italy as the winners of the competition for the best booth of this year's event. Greta from the University of Turin in Italy said: "We are very happy that people have appreciated what we have prepared for them and we hope that you will come to visit us in Italy soon and maybe have a great exchange experience."
