Chargé d’Affaires and ministerial councillor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand to Slovakia, Mr Bolbongse Vangphaen who gave a lecture at the Diplomacy in Practice lecture series visited the University of Economics in Bratislava on 27 November 2018. The embassy is located in Vienna and is also accredited for international organisations with the seat in Austria.
Mr Bolbongse Vangphaen focused on multilateral diplomacy and importance of organizations such as APEC, ASEAN, and WTO of which Thailand is a member. Further, he discussed the role of Thailand and its operation in these organizations, and presented a concept of economic diplomacy and industrial development in Thailand. Finally, Mr Vangphaen answered questions from students who were interested in current situation in the country.
