The University of Economics in Bratislava hosted the 13th edition of the Winter School in cooperation with the prestigious French university ESC Rennes School of Business. January 8, 2024 saw the opening of the event’s 13th edition attended by 16 foreign students from countries such as Colombia, Philippines, Mexico, India, Pakistan, China or Taiwan. Apart for students from ESC Rennes School of Business, for the second time, also students of the University of Economics in Bratislava attend teaching activities and had thus an opportunity to experience internationalization on their home ground in addition to being able to acquire expert knowledge.
The event was inaugurated by Boris Mattoš, the Vice-Rector for International Relations of EUBA and then students had a tour of the university campus. Social activities were organized by the ESN EU Bratislava.
The academic program is intended for international master degree students who in two weeks of intense instruction completed classes focused on international strategic management. The classes were held by Mr. Branislav Zagoršek from the Department of Management, Faculty of Business Management at the University of Economics in Bratislava and by Mr. Shubho Chakraborty from ESC Rennes School of Business. The Winter School program will conclude on January 19, 2024.
