The University of Economics in Bratislava has opened a nursery school - Ecovčielka - on the EUBA premises in Bratislava-Petržalka.

The EUBA nursery school has close ties to the University of Economics in Bratislava. Its main purpose is to provide good-quality pre-school education aimed at developing creativity, communication and environmental awareness in children aged 3 to 6, primarily for children of the University's employees and students.

"Opening the nursery school Ecovčielka ("EcoBee") is a huge milestone for us. The nursery school was founded by the University of Economics in Bratislava as part of a development project. We intend to offer our employees and students as well as the public at large an opportunity for children to have access to quality pre-school education in an environment emphasizing quality in education. It can be said that after opening this pre-school facility the University of Economics in Bratislava will be offering education to three student generations - preschoolers, higher education students and students at the University of the Third Age," said Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava, Ferdinand Daňo.

"First pre-schoolers were received already in the beginning of September. Currently there are still vacant spots at Ecovčielka available for children. We will gladly provide more information concerning children admission to the Ecovčielka nursery school and the related fees at the e-mail address ecovcielka@euba.sk, said Mgr. Ľubica Ujváryová, acting headmistress of the Ecovčielka Nursery School.

EUBA's Nursery School Ecovčielka is included in the network of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic.
