The University of Economics in Bratislava organized its 14th edition of the International Teaching & Training Week 2023 from April 24 to 25, 2023, with the subtitle Erasmus+ Key Action 107 – International Credit Mobility (ICM).
The University organized the event within the Erasmus+, programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The main theme of International Week was International Credit Mobility. Like many other renowned universities, the University of Economics in Bratislava considers the International Credit Mobility under KA171 to be an important tool of its internationalization strategy. Ferdinand Daňo, rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava together with Boris Mattoš, Vice-rector for International Relations at the University of Economics in Bratislava welcomed the participants with an opening speech.
During two days, a rich interactive program was focused on sharing an existing KA171 project experience and the best practices that this key action brings. A total of 9 representatives from 4 foreign partner universities from Europe, Asia, and Africa took part in the event.
The Department of International Mobility prepared the workshop entitled International Credit Mobility from the EUBA’s perspective led by Miroslava Darnadiová, Head of the Department. The general goal of the meeting was to contribute to the fulfillment of program premises in the framework of building the European educational area, support the realization of European strategic cooperation in the field of education and vocational training.
Foreign educators from Cape Peninsula University of Technology (South Africa) and University of European Studies of Moldova (Moldova) participated in the teaching process at the Faculty of Commerce, the Faculty of Business Management and Faculty of Economics and Finance. The lectures were held in English and were enjoyed by the students.
The participants evaluated the event as a great opportunity to meet their colleagues from foreign universities and establish new partnerships. They highlighted the quality of the organization as well as appropriately compiled event content.
