On November 9-13, 2022, a team of 54 EUBA students participated in the 7th World University Championships (WIUSC) in Barcelona, Spain.

More than 3,100 students from 64 universities and 26 countries competed in 12 sports disciplines at the event. EUBA students were not lost among the competitors in individual disciplines.

Petra Mária Kerdíková, a student at the Faculty of Applied Languages, won gold in the women's tennis singles.

Jozef Mikuš, a student at the Faculty of Economic Informatics, took 5th place in a competition of 51 tennis players.

The EUBA tennis team won silver in the team competition, represented by: Petra Mária Kerdíková, Jozef Mikuš, Filip Urbanek, Marek Novosad, Nadja Mihaldová and Patrícia Mikušová.

The EUBA men's volleyball team took 4th place in strong competition. The women's basketball team finished in 5th place and the men's basketball team in the round of 16.

Table tennis player Peter Pisarčík took a nice 5th place in strong competition.

In addition to these more successful ones, 2 swimmers and the women's volleyball team also represented their alma mater in an exemplary manner.
