In the summer semester of an academic year 2021/2022, we organized the seventh edition of the educational project Central Europe Connect - Joint Certificate Program (CEC), that enables short-term international student exchange at three economic universities in Central Europe. The CEC project is a joint project of the University of Economics in Vienna (WU), the University of Economics in Warsaw (SGH) and the University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA). Within this unique certified program, 20 students from each university attend lectures and discussions on the topics of economic development of the countries of the Central European region.

The seventh edition of the CEC project was officially launched on March 21, 2022 in Warsaw with the course „Marketing resources and consumer behaviour in Central Europe“, organized under the professional supervision of partner university SGH. On April 4, 2022, after 2 years of online teaching, we launched the course „Structural Dynamics in Central European Economies“ at EUBA. At the opening, we had the opportunity to welcome 34 students who came to Bratislava in person and 4 students participated on lectures in an online form. In the opening speech, students were greeted by Boris Mattoš, the Vice-Rector for International Relations of EUBA, who highlighted the benefits of an international mobility. After the welcome part, students continued in the program with a campus tour, small refreshments and lectures. The students took part on specialized lectures and worked in teams on group projects throughout the whole week. A tour of Bratislava was prepared for students, as well as a visit to ESET company, where they discussed the topics of cyber security, and other extra-curricular program. The block teaching was concluded on Saturday, April 9, 2022 with presentations of the results of group projects.

The project will continue on May 16, 2022 in Vienna with a course "Strategies and Management for Central Europe", organized by WU. The program will end on May 21, 2022 with a closing ceremony in Vienna.
