Thursday, 14 February 2019 saw a meeting of HERMES Strategic Alliance for Dual Degrees hosted by the University of Economics in Bratislava. The meeting was attended by representatives of following universities: EM Strassbourg, University in Tübingen, University of Alcala, Universita' Ca' Foscari Venezia, TU Dresden, University of Pavia and University of Hohenheim Strategic objectives of the organization were discussed on the meeting.
HERMES (Higher Education and Research in Management of European Universities) is a strategic alliance of 25 universities in 15 countries in Europe, Asia, Americas and Australia. Its ambition is to offer dual degree programmes in Management on bachelor, master and doctoral level. The HERMES network was founded in 1997 as an initiative of the Ecole de Management (EM) of the University in Strasbourg. The participating institutions work closely together in designing their study programmes, exchanging students and professors and organizing joint research and academic projects. Each year, this network holds an Annual Conference at one of the partner universities, which took place at the University of Economics in Bratislava in 2015. More information here.
Currently, the EUBA faculties realize 12 international double and joint degree programmes in cooperation with 9 partner universities in 8 countries in Europe (UK, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Latvia and Bulgaria) an Asia (China, Thailand). More information here.
