The International Scientific Conference of Economics and Management Researchers (ISCEMR) is an annual event that gathers academics, researchers, and professionals from around the globe to discuss and share insights on contemporary issues in economics and management. This year’s conference is themed "A New Era of Sustainable Development: Green Transformation and Climate Finance," reflecting the global shift towards sustainability and environmental responsibility. ISCEMR aims to foster interdisciplinary research and collaboration among scholars from various fields, provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences related to modern trends in economics and management, enhance the accessibility and quality of research through networking and knowledge sharing, promote scientific cooperation on a global scale.
ISCEMR 2024 took place from May 23-26, 2024, at the iconic Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan. This state-of-the-art venue, known for its architectural beauty, is fitting for an event focused on innovative and sustainable development. The conference is organized by the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and the International Center for Graduate Education, in collaboration with the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Regional Development Public Union (RIIB). This year the Faculty of Business Management EUBA was also represented at the conference - PhDr. Mária Kmety Barteková, PhD. and doc. PhDr, František Pollák, PhD.. The conference programme also included the planting of trees in the Baku City Park under the auspices of the Mayor of Baku.
In joint meetings with the university management - Vice-Rector of Science and Innovation Fariz Ahmadov, mutual cooperation between UNEC and EUBA (Faculty of Business Management) was discussed. As a result of the discussion, a joint conference is planned for early 2025.
